I contacted Greg’s Heating and Air for installation of a new thermostat and to get the A/C unit tuned up, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service. Great communication from start to finish. Isaac was extremely professional throughout the entire process. After the tune-up, Isaac provided some excellent recommendations to improve the efficiency and longevity of my unit. There was no pressure to purchase anything, which I really appreciated. Since the service, my A/C has been running smoothly. Will definitely use them again in the future!

Called these folks as a second opinion based on a service call from one of the bigger HVAC companies in Austin. The bigger company stated that I needed to replace one of my units. I called Greg's for a second opinion. I did not tell them about the first visit, I wanted them to check out the unit with a fresh mind. The tech did his thing and stated the unit was fine and should last throughout summer. The other guy said it would fail and needed replacement. I know that a failure can happen anytime, and something could fail but what I don't appreciate is being led to believe failure is imminent and something needs replacement when it actually does not. Thank you Gregs for an honest appraisal of the unit, I will be calling again. Aug 14th , well I called Gregs again! One of my two units had a clog in the drain that caused water to overflow the plenum and spill to the second floor from the attic. Called Gregs and Issac came out. Looked at the unit diagnosed that it was operating fine just the drain was clogged, blew some air into the drain, cleared the clog. AC is working fine now, no leaks. Had to mitigate the water damage, but thats not Gregs issue. Im still gonna call when I have problems.

Greg's crew did a fantastic job of re-insulating the attic to our 70 year old house. They cleaned out the old insulation and debris before blowing in the new insulation (R49). Greg's is very reasonable on pricing. I highly recommend Greg's for re-insulating your attic.

I called Greg's to get a second opinion about some repairs that needed to be done on my AC. The original technician misdiagnosed the problem, it turned out to just be a small component that needed to be replace and the technician that Greg's sent over quickly found the real issue and fixed it.

Yesterday, we received a call from a customer in need. Their 1-year-old cooling system just wasn't cutting it anymore and we were ready to help. We promptly visited their place and pinpointed the problem. We are now in the process of ordering a specific part to fix their system. Soon, they'll be back up and running with a perfectly cooled environment. We're using our tried-and-true Carrier system to sort this issue out. Just hang tight, customer - we're on it! Stay cool!

We value the opportunity to educate, so we also took the time to share some pro tips. We used nitrogen in this process, a reliable solution for such cases. The customer reached out to us with a concern - their unit was freezing up and wasn't providing proper cooling. We quickly sprung into action and performed thorough diagnostics to identify the issue. As it turns out, the control board was malfunctioning. After breaking the news to the owner, we proceeded to replace the control board. We also checked their carrier system to ensure it was running smoothly.
